![]() ![]() Those nerfs arent too bad, before the CoM update, AOE damage was a little wierd because it wasn't useful unless it guarenteed a kill on at least one of the enemies hit by it. ![]() I found the Reddit post where the numbers for the change were given (however no source was given, I guess probably because it was a user comparing old files to new ones). ![]() And these aren't hidden issues - they are clear as day if you play for any amount of time and attempt to optimize for success. It makes me wonder if they even play their own game, considering that a lot of these things they're patching were found literally the day the DLC dropped. There's no reason Red Hook should be having such difficulty figuring out how their own game works at this point. ![]() And this patch was surely in progress for a while - such a massive shift in meta towards criticals is not something that should have been undertaken lightly. It came out in Early Access 3 years ago and released 2 years ago. If the game were new, I could totally understand how they could miss some fundamental synergies with the way crits work with other abilities in their game. It's definitely easier than Red Hook makes it out to be.Įspecially after they have been working on the same game for over 3 years, with all the gameplay data, internal and player feedback they have. lol you make it sound like balancing heroes and enemies with new combat elements is easy.
